Just a quick post for the moment, but I feel as if it is beneficial.
It’s just a few reasons as to why you should drink that lovely nectar known as tea. Personally, I love tea (warm tea – I’m not a huge fan of iced), but my personal opinion isn’t really proven scientifically… so here are some “real” reasons as to why you should drink tea.
- Tea contains high levels of antioxidants.
- There are no calories in tea.
- Tea can calm you down and comfort you.*
- Your skin will look better.
- Tea can help you sleep at night.*
- Caffeinated tea can give you an energy boost!
*Make sure that you read labels and know what each ingredient in your tea does. You wouldn’t want to buy a tea to help you sleep then come to find out it contains caffeine and vice versa, so make sure to check!
I also highly recommend you buy loose tea instead of bagged tea. Most bag teas are reputable, but some can have weird things in them that are probably best avoided; so do your research. I also find it fun to create my own tea blends that cater to my own specific needs – a trait that my boyfriend and his roommate have picked up due to me.
